Ground In Common is a Social Impact Enterprise. We are proud 1% For The Planet Members, donating to local Montana environmental non-profits.
We're also trying something new - investing a portion of our profits into storytelling that highlights solution-based approaches to social and environmental issues in the critical Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Our intention is to increase dedicated funding to Ground In Common Storytelling so we can hire local writers, photojournalist and filmmakers to raise awareness and delve into the deeper tissue issues facing this unique ecosystem. We want to inspire action though positive examples.

Since 2004 more than 2,000 American newspapers have gone out of business due to competition from the internet, diminished advertising budgets and other pressures. As news deserts emerge in urban and rural areas alike, it’s increasingly clear that when local news fails, misinformation fills the void, citizens lack information to make good decisions and democratic institutions are weakened.

If you are a business or individual who would like to sponsor or support Ground In Common Storytelling, all contributions made here will be used for the sole purpose of employing local creatives to develop a narrative grounded in awareness raising, inclusivity and solutions.
